Many of the people who seek my help are highly capable, thoughtful, and outwardly successful, yet privately feel burned out, emotionally disconnected, or unsure why achievement no longer feels fulfilling.
This is especially true for high-achieving professionals, graduate students, medical providers, and individuals navigating complex cultural or family expectations.
Many have learned to cope by staying productive, self-reliant, or emotionally “fine,” even while long-standing patterns continue shaping how they experience stress, relationships, and identity.
My work helps clients understand the emotional logic behind how they learned to cope while gently challenging the strategies that no longer serve them. As these patterns become clearer, people often begin feeling less stuck, less internally pressured, and more connected to a version of themselves that feels intentional rather than inherited.
My style is warm, collaborative, and engaged. I often describe therapy with me as a nurturing but firm container, a space where clients feel both supported and challenged in ways that lead to meaningful, lasting change.
I bring humor, spontaneity, metaphor, and psychoeducation into the work to make therapy feel accessible, thoughtful, and deeply human. My goal is to help clients build greater self-trust so they can move through uncertainty with more steadiness, clarity, and confidence.
Outside the therapy room, I value slow and intentional processes. A few years ago, I started my own sourdough starter, Penelope, and weekend baking has since become one of my favorite rituals. It’s a reminder that many worthwhile things require patience, consistency, and time.
As the wife of a physician, I’ve also lived alongside the demands and invisible pressures of medical culture, which has deepened my passion for supporting both providers and their partners.
I also love long hikes with friends, discovering new places and cultures, quiet morning coffee rituals, and spending time with my cats, Cosmo and Calvin.
